The Direct Funeral – £1,395
(Unattended funeral)
This is a no frills, no fuss cremation carried out privately with no mourners in attendance.
The Service Includes:
Our professional services in arranging the cremation and ingathering of documentation
- Taking the deceased into our care within 20 miles of our Head Office Funeral Home (G42) (excludes ferry or air fares)
- Care of the deceased at our Funeral Home Care Facility
- Supply of a basic, lined and fitted coffin
- Conveyance to the crematorium in our specialist hearse
- Collection of ashes in a simple container
The Direct Funeral Specifically Excludes:
- Embalming or viewing of the deceased
- Provision of limousine transport
- Attendance at the crematorium service
- Coffin selection
Fixed Cost £1,395 (Includes cremation fee and coffin)
Simple Funeral £1,999
(Attended Funeral)
If a family can be flexible on certain aspects of our services, including the day and time of the funeral, we can offer this arrangement.
The Service Includes:
- Making all necessary arrangements and professional fees
- Conveyance of the deceased into our care at any hour within 20 miles of our Head Office Funeral Home (excludes ferry and air fares)
- Use of our care facilities, including simple preparation, dressing and coffining
(Excludes embalming; available at an additional cost – £175) - Supply of a simple, lined and furnished coffin with standard interior and name plate
- Use of our repose facilities at selected funeral homes for one hour, by prior appointment, during normal business hours
- Provision of a modern Mercedes hearse to convey the coffin directly to the crematorium or cemetery within a Glasgow postcode (restricted days and times)
- Attendance of a funeral director to oversee the funeral
The Simple Funeral Specifically Excludes:
- Provision of limousine transport
- A second venue (church service)
- Coffin selection
- Cortege with hearse from funeral or family home

Our Bespoke Funeral provides a first-quality level of service, allowing you to organise a funeral tailored to your needs and giving your loved one the farewell they deserve.
This arrangement offers complete flexibility, including choice of route, day and time, along with all the special personal touches that can mean so much.
The taking of all instructions, arranging and coordinating all third parties (clergy or celebrant, crematorium or cemetery, florist, newspapers, reception venue etc) and the collection and ingathering of all documentation required.
The Service Includes:

- Advice on all legal and social matters pertaining to the funeral
- Removal of the deceased into our care at any hour (within 25 miles of our Head Office Funeral Home – excludes air and ferry fares)
- Dignified care and safekeeping of the deceased in our modern, climate-controlled care suite
- Preparation of the deceased, including embalming (if necessary), dressing in accordance with family instructions (including hairstyle, makeup, etc.) and coffining
- Use of private family suites or repose rooms at any of our citywide locations, by prior arrangement during normal working hours
- Provision of a modern, coach-built Mercedes hearse with uniformed chauffeur and an experienced funeral director to supervise the cortege
(Alternative hearses, including horse-drawn or motorbike, are available at an additional cost)

- You might be able to claim a £2000 Bereavement Payment from the Government if your spouse or civil partner died before 6 April 2017. This is a one-off, tax-free lump sum payment based on your spouse or civil partner’s national insurance contributions.
